We dont need to focus on losing weight, we need to focus on getting well. By losing weight, we are already losing the health that will prevent us from living a long, healthy life. Our job as humans is to ensure our bodies are well-balanced. Once our bodies are well-balanced, our lives become more enjoyable.

It is true that I do need to talk about my problems to my parents. I do need to tell them how I feel about my health and my weight too. I need to talk about my fears and worries. I need to write things down too. I do need to make my own plans. I need to make decisions, but I need to be able to control the outcome. I feel like I do need to do some of these things, but it can be done without self-awareness.
I think that self-awareness is an advanced skill and is a skill that helps us to become aware of our own thoughts, feelings, and intentions, and then makes it easier for us to take action. It is something that we can develop over time; it is not something that we will ever know for certain that we have. It is a skill that can be acquired over time, and it is something that we can work on with our parents and with ourselves.
