This is a video of an actual midwest live stream of a college football game between the Michigan Wolverines and the Ohio State Buckeyes. Just the mere fact that I can watch it online and see for myself the things I love about my hometown just makes me fall in love all over again.
That’s right, I’m now officially watching this Ohio State team play in my hometown. I didn’t know that until I saw the video now that I know. I can now see the games in my town and even get to hear their music on my computer. Now that’s all I need to see.
It’s no surprise that college football fans are obsessed with one particular place. It’s called Michigan and it’s got a lot of great stuff going for it. Like, Michigan won the Rose Bowl for the first time in history back in 2010, which means that over the past decade it has never lost a bowl game. And it’s won at least six more bowl games in the past 15 years than any other Big Ten school.
Its also the only team to win the Rose Bowl in consecutive years since its inception. In fact, just last month Michigan won the Rose Bowl for the fourth consecutive year, and the first since 2008. And just last week it had its first ever victory over one of the top teams in the country. We have to give it a lot of credit for these accomplishments, but its also just the tip of the iceberg for Michigan.
Michigan’s offense may be one of the most exciting in the country, but its been known to use some unconventional tactics and strategies. Last year the Wolverines were ranked No. 1 in ESPN’s top-100 offense rankings, but in its first four games it averaged just 28.7 points per game. This past weekend it scored more than 25 points in its next three games.
I think Michigan’s offense is so explosive that it actually makes up for its offensive ineptitude on the defensive end, and the Wolverines are a very good, very balanced team that can run the table at any point in the game. The only question mark is whether the offense can maintain that level of explosiveness.

Of course, there is always a chance the Wolverines could lose and the crowd could become so angry that I’ll have to take my foot off the gas. But I’m not holding my breath. I’m here to tell you these games are gonna be worth watching, and I’m here to tell you this Michigan team is as good as any that I’ve seen in a long time.
With the way they played to start the game, Michigan should be able to come out of the halftime break with a 2-0 lead. They’re up 6-5 with two minutes to play. Even with the Wolverines’ mistakes on offense (like dropping a free-throw try), Im not sure they’ll lose. The Wolverines have the advantage on defense, but they can also score on them at any time.
After the game I talked to Michigan coach John Beilein and he was happy with his team’s performance. He said, “We have a lot of confidence in our guys. We got a lot of energy in our team. I see a little bit of that in this game. We are excited about this game.
